I bought a
Yamaha FZ-07 back in December. Of course I live in Colorado and with the weather being what it was I only got in about 100 miles on it. That and I wanted to add some stuff to the bike. Here is what I've done so far:
- Added a wind screen. Small but makes the bike look a lot better and was easy to install.
- Next up was a Flash Tune harness from FTECU.com. I needed this for the next bit I wanted to add.
- Aprapovik Carbon fiber full exhaust. The stock exhaust was good of course but made the bike sound like a little scooter or something. I'm used to the sound of the Yamaha YZF-R6 and a Harley Street Bob with screaming eagle exhausts. So this was a must.
- I like listening to something all the time or at least most of the time. So the last little bit I bought, though not really a bike MOD is a Sena 10C. This is an intercom with up to 1 mile range, BT control and headset for the cell phone and stuff and also has a built in FM receiver so I can tune in all of the stations I normally listen to without the streaming fees from the phone company.
The plan is to use this as my daily commuter bike to and from work. And really for anywhere I go that doesn't involve taking the boys with me.
